Help Others Take Their Next Step

Practice kind placement, adapt a lesson to the audience, and develop plain-language AI rules.

Find your fit

Start where you are.

Who it is for

Teachers, team leads, AI champions, pastors, and community leaders.

Starting skills

Confidence at the levels being taught; experience helping others learn. Builder experience is needed to teach advanced labs.

Proposed format: 2 × 120-minute sessions
What you will practice

Clear goals. Useful skills.

  1. Use a short skill conversation to identify a learner’s next useful step.
  2. Adapt and teach an audience-appropriate lesson without shame or jargon.
  3. Prepare a plain-language AI-use guide and rollout plan with named responsibilities.

Hands-on exercise

Teach a 10-minute mini-lesson, help a peer choose a suitable level, and prepare a fictional organization’s AI-use guide covering approved tools, information handling, review, and escalation.

Proposed session plan

Learn, try, reflect.

Session 1
  • learner placement role-play — 25 minutes
  • adapt a lesson for the audience — 30
  • plan an inclusive practice activity — 25
  • draft AI-use rules — 25
  • prepare teach-back — 15
Session 2
  • live teach-backs and peer feedback — 50 minutes
  • review placement decisions — 20
  • revise privacy, approval, and escalation rules — 25
  • build a small rollout plan — 15
  • final reflection — 10
Make progress visible

Practice that earns
your confidence.

The session is clear and respectful, the placement is based on demonstrated skills, and the guide names review responsibilities and a route for questions.

Feedback and another try are part of learning. Attendance alone does not establish the level.

Between-class practice

Pilot a short session with permission, gather learner feedback, and revise the lesson and guide.

Materials and access

Placement conversation guide, lesson-plan template, AI-use guide worksheet, peer-feedback form, and rollout checklist.

Account and tool requirements will be confirmed before enrollment. Labs use fictional or approved material.
